A service message is a message without a commercial message about products or services that your customer has purchased or purchased. It concerns information that is essential for the customer.
Consider, for example, a message about a recall or malfunction of a product or service, bill notifications, product releases (where no extra costs are involved) or a change in the general terms and conditions.
Messages that do not contain essential information for the customer regardless of the message are not covered by a service message, be it commercial, informational, idealistic or charitable. Invitations to surveys, training courses, webinars or events (even if they are free) are also not service messages.
